The Ladies Skate Fitness Sessions take place in local community halls. The groups are small and run in blocks to match school terms. The sessions are friendly and fun,
and suitable for all skating abilities.

Here are a few comments from ladies who have attended the sessions.
I had a really enjoyable evening. The class was well organised, fun and safe. It was a great way to get back on my skates.
A relaxed, fun and friendly group of people who are welcoming, supportive and encouraging throughout.
I had great fun, learned lots and felt like I’d had a good workout. There was a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Been looking for something like this for years. Ladies of my age who love skating, learning new skills, improving my fitness and an added bonus of meeting new people and perhaps increasing my social circle, just what we all need after the last 2 years. Bring it on girls!!
I am not a competent skater, however I found the ladies to be very welcoming, helped me check my equipment and were very supportive and non judgemental. By the end of the session I was skating around, happy cornering and had even tried going backwards which was a huge achievement.
Skating has given me a new lease of life and had a positive impact on me in so many ways. Learning something new that is physically and mentally challenging has shown me the benefits of getting out of my comfort zone and has proved a great distraction from all that life can throw at you.
Falkirk Wheelers have been great in developing the local skating community, bringing together long term skaters with new pandemic rollers like me.
